The **360° Placer Layer** allows you to position 2D images, graphics, or video sources inside a **360° equirectangular projection**, making them appear correctly placed within a spherical virtual environment. This layer is essential for VR, immersive video, or panoramic productions where elements must visually conform to the curvature and perspective of a 360° scene.

By mapping flat content onto an equirectangular sphere, the 360° Placer Layer ensures that overlays, labels, logos, and other graphics maintain proper orientation and depth when viewed in a 360° player or VR headset. You can rotate, tilt, and zoom the placed object to position it precisely within the spherical space.

### Layer Parameters

##### **Blend Edges**

Controls how smoothly the edges of your placed content blend into the background sphere.
A higher value softens transitions and reduces harsh edges, making the graphic appear more naturally embedded in the environment.

##### **Yaw**

Rotates the element horizontally around the viewer (left–right).
Use this to place the graphic at a specific compass direction within the 360° scene.

##### **Pitch**

Rotates the element vertically (up–down).
This allows placement above or below the horizon line—useful for labeling the sky, ceiling, floor, or elevated objects.

##### **Zoom**

Adjusts the apparent size and distance of the element within the spherical environment.
Higher values bring it “closer” to the viewer; lower values push it farther away.

##### **Rotation X, Y, Z**

Rotates the 2D content on its own axes before it is mapped into 360° space.
These controls help align logos, text, or images so they appear correctly oriented after spherical placement.

- **Rotation X** – tilts the element forward or backward
- **Rotation Y** – spins it left or right
- **Rotation Z** – rotates it clockwise or counterclockwise

- Ideal for adding **titles, markers, graphics, UI elements, or logos** inside 360° video.
- Designed specifically for **equirectangular 360° projections** (2:1 aspect ratio).
- Ensures proper visual placement in VR-capable players, panoramas, and immersive video workflows.
