What is new in this version?

Version 2.2 – June, 2016

  • New: Added one layer and three filters for 360° video processing.
  • New: Added file extensions .tvfilter and .tvsource to be opend by mimoLive. (guess whats coming 😉 )

  • Enhancement: Streaming status Panel now shows if you are encoding hardware accelerated or in pure software.
  • Fixed: mimoLive crashed when switching off Blackmagic Design playout hardware on OS X 10.10.
  • Fixed: Syphon source now can receive the alpha channel as well.

Requirements
mimoLive requires an Intel–based Mac with a discrete graphics card/chip from ATI or NVIDIA and a minimum of 8 GB of RAM. mimoLive runs on all current notebook and desktop Macs (including the MacBook with NVIDIA GeForce 9400M) with the exception of the Macs with integrated Intel GMA graphics (the earliest Mac mini, and the white or black MacBook models). If you want to use the streaming feature please make sure your machine has hardware accelerated video encoding, otherwise it’s affecting CPU performance. On the software side, mimoLive requires Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10 or higher). In addition, the Apple Intermediate Codec or Apple ProRes Codec is strongly recommended.
