Today, we want to inform you of a critical issue that has been identified with the use of mimoLive on Intel Macs running MacOS Sonoma. Our team has discovered a bug within MacOS Sonoma that disrupts the proper functioning of mimoLive Layers on these devices. To ensure uninterrupted service and optimal performance, we strongly advise users to revert to MacOS Ventura as a temporary solution. We are pleased to confirm that mimoLive continues to operate seamlessly on Apple Silicon Macs.
Immediate Action Required for Users on MacOS Sonoma
If you have already upgraded to MacOS Sonoma, the current workaround is to downgrade your operating system back to MacOS Ventura. We suggest acquiring a high-speed external Thunderbolt drive to install a bootable version of MacOS Ventura. For guidance, we have a comprehensive tutorial on installing MacOS Monterey on an external drive, which can be adapted for Ventura installation. We deeply regret the inconvenience this situation may cause and appreciate your understanding.
