What are Templates in mimoLive?
Templates in mimoLive are pre-configured documents designed to help you quickly set up professional live video productions. Each template includes a layout of layers, sources, and settings tailored to specific use cases—such as podcasting, virtual presentations, or live event coverage. Instead of building a show from scratch, you can start with a template, customize it to your needs, and go live in minutes. Templates are a great way to learn how mimoLive works and to streamline your production workflow.

- Quick Start Templates
Quick Start templates are pre-built mimoLive documents designed for specific use cases, such as recording or switching video sources. They provide a fast way to get started and also serve as practical examples for learning how to set up your own mimoLive productions. - Tutorials Templates
The Tutorials section offers step-by-step guides to help you learn mimoLive quickly and effectively. Whether you're setting up your first live stream, exploring advanced layering techniques, or configuring audio/video sources, these tutorials walk you through each process with clear instructions and practical examples. Ideal for both newcomers and seasoned users, the tutorials are designed to build your confidence and accelerate your production skills in mimoLive. - Genres Templates
The Genres section showcases a variety of pre-configured mimoLive project templates tailored to specific production types—such as news broadcasts, sports coverage, gaming streams, and event recordings. Each template is optimized for its genre, including appropriate layers, graphics, and audio/video settings, helping you get started faster and produce polished results with minimal setup. - Layer Designs Templates

Creating a mimoLive Document from a Template
- Open the template browser by selecting File → New…. This will open the Template Chooser window.
- At the top of the window, make sure the Templates tab is active by clicking the Templates button.
3. Browse and select the template you’d like to use as the foundation for your new mimoLive document. For details on the available templates, refer to the corresponding subsections in this manual.
4. At the bottom of the window, configure the frame rate and Program Out video dimensions to match your production needs.
5. Click Create New Document in the lower-right corner to generate your new mimoLive document.
