Welcome to the detailed manual for the Flying Text Layer in mimoLive. This section will guide you through the functionalities and settings of the Flying Text Layer, helping you create dynamic and engaging text animations for your broadcasts.
Overview
The Flying Text Layer is designed to animate two lines of text across the screen, adding a dynamic element to your live streams, presentations, or video productions. This layer is perfect for highlighting important information, displaying headlines, or creating visually appealing text animations.
Content options
Enter your text for line 1 and line 2.
Duration: enter the time to display the text without animations from 0.5 to 20 seconds
Animation Options
The Flying Text Layer offers four animation styles for the text lines:
- Left to Right: The text moves from the left side of the screen to the right.
- Crossover Left Right: The first line of text moves from the left side to the right, while the second line moves from the right side to the left, crossing each other in the middle.
- Crossover Right Left: The first line of text moves from the right side to the left, while the second line moves from the left side to the right, crossing each other in the middle.
- Right to Left: The text moves from the right side of the screen to the left.
Movement: set the animation distance from 0-960 pixel
Background: If you set a background color, this settings controls the appearance of the background. Either a cut or a dissolve transition.
Duration (only for dissolve): Set the duration for the dissolve background transition.
Text delay: Add a delay between the background transition and the appearance of the text fields.
Appearance
Controls over font and color settings for each line of text.
Background
Color setting for a background color.
Background Video
Source: Set a video as a background. Has a higher priority than the background color setting, and will appear above the background color. In case the video has transparency either the background color will be visible or the layers below.
Opacity: Set the degree of opacity of the background animation.
Translation X: Add a movement along the X axis.
Translation Y: Add a movement along the Y axis.
Rotation: Add a rotation to the animation in degrees.
