Picture in Picture (PIP) Window Layer

The Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Window Layer in mimoLive allows you to overlay a smaller video or graphic on top of your main content, creating a secondary frame within the live broadcast. This is particularly useful for showing multiple sources at once, such as a speaker’s face during a presentation, or a secondary video feed alongside a main program. The PIP Window layer as a wider range of geometry settings the standard PIP layer.

Key Features:

  • Resizable Window: You can easily adjust the size of the PiP window to fit your broadcast needs. Whether it’s a small corner window or a larger overlay, the PiP window can be customized to the desired dimensions.
  • Positioning: The PiP window can be dragged to any position on the screen, allowing you to place it in a corner, along the edge, or anywhere else that best suits your layout.
  • Multiple Sources: The PiP window can display any type of source, including cameras, pre-recorded videos, graphics, or live streams.
  • Borders and Effects: You can apply various borders and effects to the PiP window to help it stand out, such as rounded corners, shadow effects, or colored frames.
  • Transparency: Adjust the transparency level of the PiP window to integrate it seamlessly into the main video or make it more subtle.

User Interface:

  • Size and Position Controls: You can manually adjust the size and position of the PiP window using sliders or by dragging it directly within the preview window.

  • Layer Variants: As with other layers, you can create multiple Layer Variants for the PiP window. This allows you to switch between different content or layouts easily, using shortcuts or triggers.
